"The bad news is time flies. The good news is you're the pilot." - Michael Altshuler

The ancient Greeks had different words for the concept of time — “Chronos” and “Kairos”. “Chronos” is the forward-propelling time that we measure with clocks.

Kairos” is what philosophers would refer to as “deep time”. A time when the world seems to stop entirely, it's measured in moments.

2022 gave us 525,600 minutes in Chronos time

Kairos time - immeasurable, can only be experienced. Moments when life is incredible and we wish time would stop so we could savour it a little longer, a perfect moment.

Kairos time has a way of bringing clarity to what matters.

We have this picture in our heads of how life is supposed to be and that can be what messes us up the most. In 2023, I invite you to join me in deleting that idea and looking at what is, and find it to be enough. The only thing constant in life is change. We will not be constantly happy and we won't be constantly sad. The joy along with the sorrow is how we connect with other people and these moments will bring wisdom.

The concept of Kairos time taught me that there is no destination that will create balance and fulfillment. It’s the journey, it’s every step, adapting and staying in the moment. Every experience good or bad is going to bring a new perspective and a new level of consciousness. Seeking and searching is the celebration.
